The role of Procurement is to secure the best-quality products and services at the best price – and to do this we adopt a strategic sourcing approach to significant categories of spend to extract maximum value. We are committed to attracting the best suppliers and remain at the forefront of developments and innovation in the supply market. So as well as negotiating commercial terms and managing contractual risk, the emphasis is on building long-term strategic relationships with suppliers. This enables us to measure their performance and monitor their quality standards, but also to develop promotional activities for third-party products.
