As the UK’s fastest-growing brewer, we already have top brands such as Carlsberg, Carlsberg Export, Tetley’s and Tuborg. But we operate in an extremely competitive market, which is why innovation is the growth engine for our business. We now need an FMCG professional with experience in an innovation/NPD role that has included working on brands with global exposure.
Your prime task will be to bring to market two exciting and innovative products currently in the pipeline. But you’ll be expected to be pro-active in hunting out and evolving more commercially viable product and positioning solutions that stretch, strengthen and broaden the appeal of our existing brand portfolio. The role will see you optimising a £1m budget and inspiring sales teams to deliver a UK innovation strategy that aligns with our global innovation platforms. Developing and executing full mix launch campaigns, pioneering supply chain solutions and travelling to our innovation centres in Copenhagen and Strasbourg will all be part of your remit.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, your background will include solid experience of evolutionary product development and brand renovation for the UK off trade market. A true ideas person, you’ll have an understanding of all elements of the marketing mix, commercial flair, strong project management skills and the ability to influence both vertically and horizontally.
