I work on the canning production line within the packaging area of the brewery, one of the most crucial parts of the business. “Our main objective is to comply with the strictest quality standards to meet customer requirements. Ambitious targets are set day in, day out to the meet the needs of customers and consumers, and everyone gives 110% to deliver the production plan. It’s my job to make sure that the production machines run smoothly during my shift. But not only do I attend to breakdowns, I’m implementing continuous improvement initiatives whenever time allows. “You do have to be motivated and passionate about what you do, work well as part of a team and be willing to push yourself. Although I’ve received plenty of training regarding the equipment on the production lines, off my own back I enrolled a course to develop my electrical skills, which Carlsberg has fully supported.”
